We all know that data can be retrieved even when it has been deleted. That’s because when we delete the data, it just deletes the link to that data, but not the data itself. Sometimes we want to delete the data 100% so it cannot be retrieved. This is called low-level formatting. Simply put, low-level formatting goes through every part of the hard drive and overwrites all of the data with nothing. You end up with a completely blank hard drive with no traces of anything,

Why do I need to do this?

If you sell your computer, or if you give it away, or if you just want to throw your hard drive away and install a new one, there are people out there who can steal our information from these hard drives. No one wants to be a victim of identity theft or even someone retrieving a photo of you or your family and friends. We want that information to be private.

If you want us to format your hard drive properly, we can do this for you. All you have to do is send us your laptop or hard drive in. We generate a report which proves that the hard drive has been formatted successfully, and then we will return your old drive back to you with the report. It’s as easy as that.
